Biography Staff Bio – Mark Conard 

Born and raised in California, Mark currently lives in Roswell Georgia. He has been married to Patty for 34 years. They have two children: Matt (29) an Eagle Scout and Amy (27).

 Mark has been a Scout Leader for sixteen years as an Assistant Scoutmaster and Committee Chair at Troop 430 and as the COR for St. David’s Episcopal Church, Mark has served the Milton District as the District Chairman and as the Nominating Committee Chairman. Mark also serves on the Atlanta Area Council Executive Board.



Mark is trained in Wilderness First Aid, is CPR certified and has completed Powder Horn and Wood Badge. He has served as staff on multiple Wood Badge courses and was the Scoutmaster of Wood Badge course 92-73.

Mark has received the Adult Religious Service Award, William D. Boyce Award, James E. West Fellowship Award, Scout Leaders Training Award, District Award of Merit, Silver Beaver Award and the Scouter’s Key Award.

He is a Brotherhood member of the Order of the Arrow.



Mark is an independent financial advisor with Legacy Financial Advisors. He earned his degree in Finance from California State University East Bay and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

Mark and Patty are members of St. David’s Episcopal Church in Roswell GA.

• Certified Financial Planner™; Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.

The program is administered by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. Those with the CFP® designation have demonstrated competency in all areas of finance related to financial planning.
Candidates complete studies on over 100 topics, including stocks, bonds, taxes, insurance, retirement planning and estate planning. In addition to passing the CFP® certification exam, candidates must also complete qualifying work experience, agree to adhere to the CFP Board's code of ethics and professional responsibility and financial planning standards and complete 30 hours of continuing education every two years.
